While the 50nV/1000hr specification can be used to estimate the drift over lifetime, the actual drift will not approach that value. This is because the auto-zeroing technique of the IC causes the drift to become slower and slower over time. The drift specification should be taken as a short term specification which gets better over time and is not reset by power cycling.
