signal from the output of the AD215 needs to be routed to the input of an
analog to digital converter which is single sided converter (accepts signals
from 0 to 3V). My question is can I use TRIM pin on AD215 to adjust offset (by
adding an external resistor divider) so I can translate say bipolar input
signal from -1.5V to 1.5V to single sided output signal in range from 0 to 3 V?
My idea was to use additional OP AMP for this however, if this is possible to
be done with the AD215 than I would rather use that.
The trim adjustment will not provide enough range for this application. You may
want to add an offset to the input. I am attaching a modified version of figure
12 from the datasheet. I added a 1.5V offset and an offset adjustment. You may
also want to add some bypass capacitors to the + & - Viso supplies.
