Amplifier as described in it's datasheet page 23 Fig.16. My question is: what
happens if the video signal source and the card in which AD8130 resides have a
slight difference between their ground levels (a common mode offset in video
signal)? Does in AD8130 output appear this offset + signal difference or just
the signal difference?
The output of the AD8130 will not be affected by a small difference in ground
potential between the shield ground and the local ground of the AD8130. The
AD8130 provides very high common mode rejection of the input signal compared
with the AD8130 local ground.
The gain is 1 so
Video in - Vshield = Vout - Vref
