Do I have to use the MAX1452 offset TC DAC and FSOTC DAC in my compensation algorithm?
Not necessarily. In a typical application, the offset TC DAC and FSOTC DAC are set to arbitrary values; the OFF and FSO lookup tables are used for total temperature compensation. It is recommended that the FSOTC DAC and offset TC DAC be set to non-zero values, e.g., 0x0200.
