How critical are the oscillator trim bits in the MAX1452 configuration register?
The oscillator frequency is not critical for the signal conditioner's operation. However, the signal conditioner operating speed is a direct function of the oscillator frequency. During the manufacturing process, the oscillator bits in the Configuration register are set so the oscillator frequency is closest to 1MHz. The default value for the oscillator bits is 000b.
