Question
What do you mean by biopotential measurement? Is it Electrocardiography
applications this part has been designed for?
Answer
A biopotential measurement is the measurement of the electrical activity
associated with the functioning of an organ, be it the heart (ECG), the brain
(EEG), the eye (EOG), a muscle (EMG), or any other. This part has been designed
with ECG in mind, but nothing prevents the system designer from using it in any
other biopotential measurement application like EOG, EMG or other. The AD8232
is fully customizable. The designer just needs to pay attention to the details
and challenges associated with each application.
