Q
How do I take full advantage of AD8237 performance?
A
Proper layout and decoupling will help performance. Keep input traces matchedand parasitics small for CMRR performance. There are often large resistors in
the feedback, so parasitic capacitance can be a concern there too. It may be
worth removing ground plane there for some cases. Depending on the gain and
bandwidth mode, there may be a fair amount of chopping ripple at the outputs.
Be wary of crosstalk, intermodulation, and aliasing problems that may have the
potential to cause. The first defense against this is filtering/limiting
bandwidth.
If it’s still a problem, it may be solvable with careful design and layout.
