Question
In one of our application circuit, we are using Op amp AD8602D to drive a
bidirectional inductive load, we would like to understand that the O/P stage is
complementary pair, if so is there any free wheeling diode provided across the
collector and the emitter of the complementary pair at the O/P stage. Awaiting
for your response.
Answer
The AD8602 is a rail to rail output amplifier. So, it has a complementary
pMOS-nMOS output stage.
There is no physical freewheeling / flyback diodes across the collector and
emitter of the output transistors.
