ADA4807:I keep hearing the term “dynamic power scaling” associated with this
amplifier. What is dynamic power scaling and what are the benefits?

 

A 

One benefit of SAR ADCs is that their power consumption scales with the
sampling rate making them very power efficient, particularly when compared to
the driver. Dynamic power scaling is a method by which the ADC driver power
consumption is scaled in a similar fashion to the ADC. By dynamically driving
the  pin of the ADA4807, its power consumption can be substantially reduced.
This is particularly useful for battery powered or thermally sensitive
applications.
