How to use AD 8336?

We recently purchased a AD8336-evaluation board for the variable gain amplifier. I put a 1MHz sine wave into the VIN port. And I applied a +-5 V voltage supply. I set Vgain as OV.  However, I cannot get any signal at the output port.

Anyone can help me about this?

Thank you.

The AD8336 eval board is tested before shipment and works out of the box. Here are some things to check:

    1. You applied +/-5V, did you also connect a supply ground?

    2. Please notice that the gain control is differential. Did you connect both input polarities to ground? IF so, you should see hallf the gain range value.

    3. Did you check the power supply current to be sure the board was powered?

    4. Did you check the output with a scope to see if there was any response, say the output railed?

    5. Did you check all the I/O pins to verify the conditions were what you thought they should be?

    6. Was all the test equipment enabled? (i.e., I have an Agilent sig-gen, when I turn it on the output isn't nabled; same with my HP power supply).

    7. Are all the interconnecteing cables and wires in good condition? (I've had plenty faulty SMA and BNC connectors in my day).

    8. If you are by chance reading this maybe you could post your pin voltages for us to look at.
