Does the MAX9512 IC is obsolete or available.

Upon checking, unfortunately, MAX9512 has been obsoleted since June 28, 2023. For us to better suggest a suitable alternative for the part, may we know the following:

1. Critical specifications that you want
2. Target end application
3. Target package size

Having the above data will surely help us proceed with this. Thank you very much

please also suggest the alternate for ADV7340.

R: need to merge Y/C to CVBS

- Forgive me but I don't quite get what you mean here. When I asked you about the critical specs, I was referring to the parameters that can be found on a part's data sheet, like input bias current, offset voltage, bandwidth, etc. Do you have any target specifications?

3. Target package size

R: 200Units

- What I've meant about the package size is the actual package of the IC and not the number/quantity of the IC. For example, MAX9512 is available in a Thin QFN package. Do you also have a target IC package? (SOIC? MSOP? etc.)


For ADV7340's replacement, I recommend you to ask it on the Video community because we do not support non-amplifier products on this forum. Thank you.

R: Not so specific or critical, What Max9512 IC offers is acceptable means similar parameters

3. Target package size

R: Not so specific except BGA,  similar package of Max9512 IC or any also ok.

I ran into the same issue to merge Y/C to CVBS and found the MAX9512 is no longer available. What I've found so far is NJM2274 (from Nisshinbo) and it is available at Mouser's. Haven't ordered a sample yet, but the datasheet suggests that it will do the job. See here:
