What is the maximum safe input for the AD598?

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD598

We are using two LVDTs in our design. They ride on a motorized carriage that allows the core to be fully disengaged. This causes a secondary voltage larger than the full scale output voltage. I was concerned that it may damage the AD598 if we exceed the 3.5 Vrms specified in the datasheet. The datasheet does not seem to indicate a maximum allowable input voltage. Is it safe if we keep the input below the supply voltage?

    Hi  ,

Good day. I recommend that you keep the input range within the specification table's signal voltage to ensure that the part is working in the linear region.
