Hello
Could you please tell me the maximum input frequency for the RSET, W1SET, W2SET, W3SET, and RSET pins?

Hi NKokubo131,
The RSET, W1SET, W2SET, and W3SET pins are analog current-setting inputs rather than digital switching inputs. The datasheet does not specify or guarantee a maximum input frequency or bandwidth for these pins. They are normally driven by a DC voltage source or DAC through an appropriate series resistance. High-speed channel switching is performed using the RDIS, W1DIS, W2DIS, and W3DIS pins.
Could you confirm whether the "RSET" in your question should be "RDIS" and whether you are asking about modulation of the SET inputs or the maximum switching rate of the DIS inputs?
Best Regards,
Ian
Hi Ian san
I have a question regarding analog modulation of the SET inputs. Our customer plans to connect three AD9665 units in parallel to drive a maximum current of 1 A. He would like to achieve a linear transition from 0 A to 1 A within 30 ns. While he does not require guaranteed specifications for maximum input frequency or bandwidth, do you have any actual performance data available?
Best regards
