Using an AD8436 parallel to a Resistor to mesure its RMS Voltage

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD8436 , AD843

Hello,

I am trying to use the AD8436 in a circuit (see attatched Image) to measure the RMS Value of a PWM over the resistor R2. Looking at the datasheet, I sadly could not figure out how to connect the AD8436 to the Resistor R2 in parallel.

I have the AD8436-EVALZ. I would like to test my circuit with it before odering parts. I got the measurement working, connecting the AC_in Pin parallel to the Resesistor R2. Now I am trying to simulate the circuit in LTSpice, but can´t get it to work because of the connected grounds (my grounds were seperated in the test circuit I built).

Is my planned circuit even correct?

Can I simulate it somehow?

Can I use some test pins on the evaluation board to connect the AD8436 correcly for my application?
