Automotive qualification

Question

Good day. The datasheet for ADA4096-2WARMZ-RL states it is automotive qualified, but does not mention what it is qualified to? AEC100? Can you please provide qualification documentation for automotive standards for this component.

Hello Misha123 , Unfortunately, we cannot share the qual / rel report due to confidential information. But rest assured that ADA4096-2WARMZ-RL is AEC-Q100 Qualified. "This Opamp specifies input overvoltage specifications which is great. But do you have information on its output overvoltage performance? What happens to the device when supplied with 0.3-0.5V on its output while the OpAmp rails are unpowered." - It is generally not recommended to apply voltage to the output pin of an op amp, especially when its supply rails are unpowered. Even at low voltages, current can flow from the output pin into the internal circuitry of the op amp, which may lead to nonlinear behavior, latch‑up, or potential device damage. 
 - As a recommendation, you can connect an external clamping circuitry to avoid current from entering the op amp.
