Falling edge detector for photodiode

Category: Hardware

I have a circuit (in LTspice) that does a good job of detecting the rising edge of a signal from an Si photodiode using the LTC6268 as a TIA.  However it has been suggested that I could reduce the detection jitter (from variations in pulse shape) by also detecting the Falling edge and then using the mid-point between rising and falling edges as the true pulse 'peak'.

Question:  How best to create a Falling edge detector for (the same) photodiode?   The signal of interest will be a fast pulse (nS) and have a very low duty cycle of < 0.5%    @Glen Brisebois
