Regarding the overload recovery time of the AD822 (the time it takes to recover from a saturated state)

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD822

Hi,

I have a question; please tell me the answer.

I am designing a simple triangular wave oscillator circuit using the AD822 op-amp.

The circuit is similar to the one shown in the link below.

https://www.analog.com/jp/resources/technical-articles/precision-triangularwave-generator-uses-a-single-ic.html

After analyzing the circuit in LTSpice and examining the waveforms in detail, I noticed a delay in the op-amp output.

I understand that the AD822 is not a high-speed type, so its slow slew rate is expected.

However, the time it takes for the op-amp to respond to the input also seems to be a factor.

I suspect this is related to the overload recovery time (the time it takes to recover from a saturated state),

but since this information isn't in the datasheet, could you please tell me what that value is?

Best Regard,

Naohisa
