AD8692 minimum input bias current between 40℃ and 85℃

Thread Summary

The user inquired about the minimum input bias current (Ib) of the AD8692WARMZ at temperatures between 40°C and 85°C, with Vs = 5V and Vcm = 2.5V. The support engineer confirmed that the Ib is positive within this temperature range based on the typical characteristics plot and the specification table. The application is for automotive lighting, and the user provided the customer with the Ib vs. Temp curve and electrical characteristics but sought further confirmation.

  • Hi Gilbeys,

    Application is Automotive(2R) lighting.

We have already provided the customer with the Input Bias Current listed in the ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS and the Ib vs. Temp curve in the TPC.
However, since this information alone was not sufficient to determine whether Ib, including device variations, becomes positive between Ta = 40℃ and 85℃, we are inquiring about it.

    Regards,
