Propagation Delay of OP AMP

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD8542ARMZ, AD8542

Hi,

I am going to use (MFR: AD8542ARMZ & AD822ARMZ-R2) for over current sensing application.

I would like to know propagation delay of above mentioned IC's.

Could you also suggest any OP AMP with MSOP-8pin package that operates at 3V for my application.

Regards,

Vignesh.

  • Hi  ,

Good day. We'll look into this and get back to you. But can you provide us with other parameters (e.g. bandwidth, input current) that might be critical in your design to narrow down the selection of the IC? Thank you.

    Hi  ,

Can you help us with this query? Thank you.

  • Hi  ,

There is no certain propagation delay for opamps, unless you use them as comparatrors (what is not recommended in general). The phase shift depends on the frequency and on the feedback loop attenuation too. You can use the transfer function of your circuit to estimate what is the phase shift at a certain frequency or to get the output signal as a function of the input signal.

    I hope it helps.
