Asymmetrical power supply

Product Number: ADA4522

Dear,
I want use ADA4522 in my application as voltage buffer with gain 1. (votage folower).
Power supply is +5V and -12V.
Input and output votage will +/- 0.6V.
Is it possible to use? Or are you see some dangerouse?

  • Thanks very much for the quick reply.  I may have left out an important point.  In this case, I have configured the op-amp as an inverting configuration, so pins 3 & 5 are grounded.  It worked fine in LTspice, but I know that it can't always reflect reality.  With one input grounded, do the supplies need to have the same amplitude?    Note: I know that I am doing something wrong.  I am using the ADP5071 to create the plus & minus rails.  When the supplies to the op-amp are different amplitudes, the negative rail on the ADP5071 stops working.
