Dear,
I want use ADA4522 in my application as voltage buffer with gain 1. (votage folower).
Power supply is +5V and -12V.
Input and output votage will +/- 0.6V.
Is it possible to use? Or are you see some dangerouse?
thanks

Hi snozik
The current configuration you had is OK. As long as your not exceeding the ABS MAX RATINGS of the part which is 60V supply voltage range then it is OK.
Hello, would your answer above apply to most other op-amps? Specifically the AD8033/AD8034? Thanks for any insights.
Hi WMilam
Yes, it is applicable to most op-amps. Just take note on the minimum supply that the part can operate on the positive supply. For example, if we want to use it in a negative asymmetrical supply, AD8033 should have a minimum of 5V VCC to operate on the negative supply (24V supply range; VCC: 5V, VEE: -19V).
Thanks very much for the quick reply. I may have left out an important point. In this case, I have configured the op-amp as an inverting configuration, so pins 3 & 5 are grounded. It worked fine in LTspice, but I know that it can't always reflect reality. With one input grounded, do the supplies need to have the same amplitude? Note: I know that I am doing something wrong. I am using the ADP5071 to create the plus & minus rails. When the supplies to the op-amp are different amplitudes, the negative rail on the ADP5071 stops working.
