I am using the AD8465 part in a front-end electronics design, the first two amplification stages are powered by a different supply than the AD8465. Is there any issue with the AD8465 receiving an input signal while it is not powered?

There is a possibility that the absolute maximum ratings will be reached if the AD8465 is not yet powered on. It is advisable to power on the comparator first before inputting signals.

This is my understanding as well given that in the absolute maximum section it refers to the inputs not exceeding the VCC level. Still I wanted to submit the question before I levied a requirements on my power supply folks. Thanks for the input.
