About the maximum hysteresis value of the LTC6752

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: LTC6752

Hello

I have a question about the hysteresis of the LTC6752.
Is there any data on the variation in hysteresis when VCC=VDD=3.3V and VEE=0V in the data sheet P5?

I would like to know the approximate maximum value.

I would appreciate it if you could reply.

Best Regards.

  • Hello Knj,

We do have plots of hysteresis across temperature and voltage in page 10 of the datasheet.
Also, there is a plot in page 19 of the datasheet showing the relationship of the control resistor on the pin and hysteresis voltage.
It shows that as long as (LE)/HYST pin is floating then hysteresis is maintained at around 5mV.

    Hope it helped.

    Best Regards,
    Sham

  • Hi Sham

    thank you for your reply.
I thought that this data is a typ value, but does the Max value also fluctuate greatly?

Currently, 28mV hysteresis occurs when inputting 700mV under the conditions of VCC=VDD=3.3V, VEE=0V.
    Is this an inappropriate value?

I would be happy if you could reply.

    Best Regards,
    Knj

  • Hello,

Could you share how you inputted the 700mV to the HYS pin?

The way the Hysteresis work for this part is to have a current flowing at the HYS pin. You can do this by connecting either a current source or a resistor to ground. I think adding a voltage directly will not give us the expected response.

    Thanks,
    Sham
