Voltage current converter

Product Number: LT1206

Hi,

I would like to create a voltage/current converter using a high current output amplifier.

Power supply +/:15V

Max output voltage : 10V

Loads up to 100ohm

Output current up to 500mA

I think the amplifier LT1206 can match my need regarding slew rate and bandwith.

Which schematic is possible for a voltage/current converter ?

Is a Howland circuit suitable or is there any other way ?

Yes a Howland (or equivalent) circuit should work with the LT1206. Just make sure the feedback resistor is not too small to cause instability, and not so large as to create too large a DC error due to Ib- * Rf.

Hi, thanks !

In between I found an Analog devices application note on the subject.

I changed my choice. I will use a LT1210 and an ADA4898 in an enhanced Howland circuit.
