OP2177 - Date Code

Hi,

We met some issue on our product with OP2177 device.

With a date code OP2177 A#830 5002 ==> our product works without problems.

With a date code OP2177 A#932 6453 ==> our product doesn't work.

Could you communicate if the PCN#18_0060 is applied on the second date code ?

We can communicate a partial schematic of our design if needed, by private exchange.

BR,

Benjamin

  • Hi Benjamin,

    PCN#18_0060 die revision is done to shrink the size of the part. The performance of the part should not be affected. You can send the schematic file through email at kristine.hoffman@analog.com

    As per the EngineerZone Code of Conduct, we are unable to provide information about parts in the EngineerZone community based on their markings. We suggest going back to your point of purchase to get this information. Note that ADI only provides warranty coverage or any quality, reliability, failure analysis, applications, or other support on products purchased through ADI authorized distributors and sales offices. To ensure you are receiving unused, legitimate ADI product, please ensure all purchases are made through the ADI authorized distributors and sales offices listed on our website at: Sales and Distribution | Analog Devices.

    Although, may I know how many units have failed in the said date code? In any case it's proven that its from an authorized distributor, we'll make sure to investigate and do the necessary steps to resolve this issue.

    Thanks and best regards.
