Recommended feedback resistors for AD8014

Hi Norman,

I think you are okay to use the following resistor:

Rf = 1.1 KΩ and Rg = 100Ω for the gain of 12

Rf = 1 KΩ and Rg = 20.5Ω for the gain of 50

You may also refer to Table II at page 9 of its datasheet for the most common values for feedback resistors.

Hi florent,

According to the Applications engineer, the scope photo was taken a long time ago before he was part of ADI so we do not have documents that can define the time base of the scope shot. But he also said that we can take a reasonable guess based on the slew rate, which is specified at 4.6V/ns in the table for Rf = 500 and a 4V step - same conditions as in the plots. It looks like the slope in Figure 19 plot is about 3V in 0.5 divisions, making the slew rate 6V/ns if the time base were 1 ns/div. This seems like the best estimate.
