The output current of the laser driver AD9665 is limited to 950 mA typical. To reach output currents in the range up to 2 Ampere, could the outputs of 2 or 3 of those chips be put in parallel?

Hi, Markus.
Yes, you can connect 2 or 3 AD9665 in parallel to produce an output voltage of 2A but be sure to synchronize the signals that drive each AD9665 for a good response. To help you better, can you provide details on the following:
1. What is your application?
2. What kind of current waveform are you trying to generate?
3. What are you driving?

Anna
Hi Anna,
We are driving a semiconductor laser with a pulse pattern and would like to modulate the current in intensity. Inputs of the AD9665's would be driven by an FPGA.
Best Regards
Markus
