I have been using the AD8513 opamp, powered by a single 5 V power supply, as a buffer at the output of a DAC and have noticed that the input offset voltage is rather high: I've seen it as high as 20 mV. The datasheet doesn't explicitly say that the device cannot be powered by a single supply, but I'm now wondering if that isn't the case.
Could someone please confirm?
Thanks in advance,
I see the problem now: when the AD8513 is powered by ±5 V, the input voltage range (IVR) is specified as -2 V to +2.5 V. Using the same margins (i.e. 3 V from the negative rail and 2.5 V from the positive), the IVR range when powered with a single 5 V supply is zero. That explains the degraded input offset voltage performance that I've seen.
Thank you for your help,
