LTspice simulation

Thread Summary

The user encountered syntax and convergence issues when simulating the MAX41400 instrumentation amplifier in LTspice using the SPICE model from Analog Devices. The issue was resolved by changing the solver. The user is now testing different types of INAs and is open to additional advice on the MAX41400.

Hello,

I am trying to simulate the MAX41400 instrumentation amplifier in LTspice using the SPICE model provided by Analog Devices.

However, I encounter several errors related to the .lib file, including syntax and convergence issues. I have already made some modifications to the library, but the simulation still fails.

Has anyone successfully simulated the MAX41400 in LTspice? If so, could you please share:

  • a working LTspice-compatible .lib file, or
  • any modifications required to make the original model work?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello,

Thanks for your answer. The relevant part of the circuit is below. It actually works now after I changed the solver.

I'm currently trying different types INAs. So I know the external circuit is working, However, if you have any additional advice regarding the MAX41400, I would be happy to hear it.

    Best,
