AD 8223 for single ended operation.

I have to connect a  single ended low level signal(ac) to AD 8223's differential input. Can I connect AD 8223's -ve input directly to ground and the +ve input to the signal input with capacitor coupling for DC isolation? I have used 2.5V at the reference pin. The circuit is operating from single supply +5V and Gnd.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your interest in AD8223. Yes, you can connect the AD8223's negative input to ground for single ended input operation. You just have to take note that the AD8223's input common voltage range is 0.15V below the negative supply, therefore in your case, your signal must not go lower than -0.15V. And by the way, you also need to provide ground returns for input bias currents since you are AC coupling your input. Please see page 16 of the datasheet for the discussion on ground returns.
