I am evlauting the AD8418 for use as the front-end within a battery-pack fuel gauge. The Li-ion battery pack (2S2P) will have a max V of 8.4VDC. Two questions have been raised-
1) On power-down (w/gnd connected) can the device tolerate having the 6.0-8.4VDC common-mode applied to inputs?
2) On power-down (w/gnd connected) can you please specify the input leakage?
In summary, our main concerns are having a voltage (6.0-8.4VDC) applied to inputs, when the devices' VS has been powered-down. And, whether or not these inputs provide a problem with leakage-current (during power-down).
