For our two electrode-based ECG design, we are planning to use AD8233. As part of the evaluation, we attempted the following but the signal captured doesn't look like ECG. It would be great, if someone can let us know if we are doing something wrong.
The settings followed were
Make sure that the inputs signals are going into the RA and LA terminal. For the AC leads off two-electrode mode config, you short the P5 which means that the input bias path was provided by the RLD amplifier and therefore it should RLD_EN.
Can you confirm if you are using our evaluation board on your current setup? if not, can you share your actual schematic here, if possible, which will be helpful in debugging.
We are using the AD8233 evaluation board Z 08_042667 REV A from Analog Devices.
Is it necessary to use RLD pin for 3rd electrode to eliminate Vcm?
