Can ADA4817 be supplied by +6.5V /-3.5V rail for a long time

Dear Sir or Madam 

As I say at the Subject Column , can ADA4817 be supplied by +6.5V /-3.5V  rail  running forever ? while the load of the amplifier is about 130ohm , the input signal is between -2V to +5V . 

In addition , I am debugging a board relevant to ADA4817-2 . recently I found it didn't work well , there was always about 6V at Pin5 . Having replaced it with a new chip , it could work well again . 

So could you mind please give me some tips to figure it out .

    Hello Anglic,

    Apology for the late response.

    As I say at the Subject Column , can ADA4817 be supplied by +6.5V /-3.5V  rail  running forever ?

    -Yes, you may run this product using this supply as it is still within the required supply stated at the data sheet, 10v.

    while the load of the amplifier is about 130ohm , the input signal is between -2V to +5V . 

    -The IVR ranges from -Vs to (+Vs – 2.8V). Thus, the input signal that can be processed will be only at -Vs to +3.7V.

    In addition, please take I look on AD8000. It may suit to your requirements plus it has higher current load drive as compared to ADA4817.

    -It would be helpful if you can share to us the schematic of the circuit you are working of particularly on the use of this product.

    Would you mind to post the IVR parameters here from the datasheet with a picture , For I didn't find it as you mentioned . 

    And , I guess the former ADA4817 was damaged by the heat . Would you  mind that help to calculate the maximum total  power  of each amplifier .

    Hi Anglic,

    The IVR parameter can be found on page 5 of the data sheet.

    Also, you can use this formula for computing the Power Dissipation(PD).
