AD630 overshoot & ring-down as a modulator

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD630

Hello,

I'd like to use the AD630 as a lock-in amplifier for small amplitude 1KHz optical signal. Because it's easier to analyze I designed a simple modulator. 1KHz modulator. I'm seeing large spikes at the edges of the modulated signal shown in the scope image below. I presume that this may be related to phase off-set, but I'm not sure. Can you suggest how I can resolve these spikes before trying to move to the lock-in design?

Thanks,

Patrick
