FIT-rates details for calculation

Hello!

What are the more specific testing conditions under which the FIT-rate is found? On your page "Details of reliability calculations" it says "1000 hours at 125 degrees Celsius", which is fine. But I need more specific details, like are there any mechanical vibrations or humidity present, and is the test performed at a standard 1 ATM pressure?

The relevant component is the operational amplifier AD8629.

    Hi,

Apologies for the late response. I'll coordinate this with the responsible engineer for testing and see if I could get the details that you're looking for.

    Thanks,

    Donnie

    Hi,

You could try this link: Assembly/Package Data. Then use SOIC (Narrow) for the package type since this is the package for the AD8629. It would list the different test for all the SOIC packages and just find the AD8629 from the list.

There are actually 3 tests done for the AD8629 which is: HAST (High Accelerated Stress Test), HTS (High Temperature Storage), and Temp Cycle.

For example, the HAST was done at 130C, 85% RH, and 2 ATM.

    Hope this answers your questions!

    Thanks,
    Donnie
