Dear all,
I'm considering using ADA4622-2 as an input buffer in a voltage follower configuration for a medical application. Op-amp will be powered in +/-5V and inputs will be connected to a patient through input resistors.
Is there known or foreseeable failure situations where -ina, +ina, -inb or +inb pins can se shorted to V+ and V- power rails? If yes the design will need huge input resistors to limit the current to acceptable limit required by 60601-1 std.
Please let me know you experience regarding possible ADA4622-2 op-amp fault conditions. Thank you.
Best regards,
Benoît,
Hi,
May I know how much current/voltage are you anticipating at the input of the ADA4622-2?
You could refer to page 28 of the datasheet for some guide regarding input protection of the ADA4622-2
Thanks,
