AD8009 for peak detection application

Hi everybody,

I am planning to build a circuit to get the maximum of the signal as in this paper.

I want to replace LTC6244 with AD8009.

I want to ask if AD8009 is suitable for this application?

    From the article, the LTC6244 was selected due to its AC performance, wide supply range, offset voltage, and drift.
    The LTC6244 has much better Vos and and drift as compared to AD8009.

    One important note here is that, AD8009 is a Current Feedback Amplifier(CFB) while the LTC6244 is Voltage Feedback Amplifier(VFB).

    On the article, the feedback network of the op amp has great role on the application.
    When using AD8009 which is CFB, this will limit the flexibility of the feedback network.

    Here are two Mini Tutorials that are good to read about CFB and VFB.
    MT-034 and MT-060.
