AD8014 output voltage range

Hi,

I'm using the AD8014ARZ in as a buffer for my DAC output application.

I see that in the datasheet there is a specification for output voltage: 1.1 to 3.9V

But as my application demands, I want to get an output from 0V to 0.9V.

So the question is whether the output can be smaller than the specification?

    Just wanted to know if you are limited to single ended supply? This spec is for 5V, GND.

    With this single ended supply and if you are going to use the amplifier as buffer, you are not only limited by the Output Voltage swing but also by the Input Voltage Range.

    Your Output Voltage Swing and Input Voltage Ranges require a 1.4V and 1.2V headroom footroom and respectively.

    For you to process 0V to 0.9V, you must have atleast those headroom/footroom. 

    If you are not limited to single supply, please use dual supply.

    Yes, we are using only a single-ended supply(3.3V).

    As mentioned, the amplifier needs headroom/footroom.

    The answer to your question would be NO.

    In addition, the part is specified with atleast 5V supply.

    What are your other requirements of selecting AD8014?

    For the rail to rail input and output, I suggest for you to check ltc6226/7 or other rail-to-rail op amps..

    This parts accepts -VS minus 0.1V, so for single supply that will be -0.1V. 

    The output could also be low as 14mV for 0V. 

    Also, this part is specified with 3V supply.
