Hi team
I am going to design using ADA4870.The voltage range is shown in 10 to 40V.Is plus, minus 20V the maximum?
One question more,The figure below shows "Up to 60 Vpp 1A with external BJT."Is the range plus, minus 30 volts? Please share the BJT circuit.
Thanks
Damon
Hello,
The output voltage range as per data sheet under +/-20V supply are as follows.
Where as, if you will use single ended supply of +Vs = 40V and -Vs = GND,
you can expect an output range of 2V to 38V.
For your 2nd query, we will get back to you if we have the circuit/test condition used to achieve that performance.
Regards.
Hi
Thank you for your answer.
Do you have any further answers? If ADA4870 does not have a circuit diagram, please tell me how to use a larger voltage on other common OPAMP.
I can sense that you are aiming for high output voltage.
Can you tell us more about your system requirements/considerations?
In this case we can help you to find suitable product.
Hi Fdelaram
The specifications I want are 0 to 50 V outputs. However, the ADA4870 power supply is 0-42V.The TEST result shows that the component surface temperature is 100°C or higher when using 0 to 50V.Please check if you can use 0 to 50V safely or if you are satisfied with any product.
Thanks,
We have some other products that can have higher output voltage.
The primary advantage of ADA4870 is higher Bandwidth, fast Slew Rate, and high current drive.
If your requirement doesn't need such advantage, please try to consider other high voltage product available in this link.
Hope this helps.
OK, The ADA4870 does not have a spec.If you find the document "Up to 60 Vpp 1A with external BJT," please share it.
