Actually, I have two problems using device SSM2305. I have connected pin: IN + and IN - to 50K Ohm potentiometer (respectively to the second and third out of the potentiometer). I have inserted two 100n Farad ceramic capacitor between potentiometer and device. The audio source is linked by jack Mono (connected to first and third pin of potentiometer). When I switch on the power source (about 5 volt) and I connect audio input to SSM2305, device doesen't generate correctly audio out if I exceed the central position of potetiometer.The out seems to be zero volt.
Measuring the potentiometer impedance, I obtained this strange values:
- 13.4 Ohm resistance between pin 1 and 2.
- 13.4 Ohm resistance between pin 2 and 3 (the same as above).
If I disconnect the audio source, maintaining the power supply, I obtain again the same resistance value between pin 1 - 2 and 2 - 3.
It is an error, the pin In - in the first device is connected as in the second one (to the common of the potentiometer).
I use the potentiometer to control volume in my application, the input signal is in range +500, - 500mV with 0 mean value
