Logic voltage of AD8338

Hi All

I some questions about AD8338.What is the logic voltage of AD8338?Is it 3V or 5V? Can it drive the ADCs that mainly adopt 5V logic voltage such as AD9224.Thanks for all reply.

    Hi Tsinyang,

You can power AD8338 with either 3V or 5V, it will work but the Peak-to-Peak Output, Reference and VOCM are still the same as to what is specified in the 3V specifications. In terms of input voltage drive for the ADC, it will have a lower dynamic range since the usable would only be 2.8 Vpp, 1.2 Vpp lower than the specified full range operation of the ADC. If you maximimize the ODR of the ADC, AD8338 is too slow for 40 MSPS applications, for high speed AGC applications you can check AD8330 or AD8337.
