Operating range of the AD790

What I felt like questioning was a good thing.
When GROUND terminal = 0V, if + Vs = 20V, -V s = -10V, is this a deprecated connection?

The recommended supply range for the AD790 is +/-15V which means +15V to the +Vs pin and -15V to the -Vs with respect to the AD790's ground pin.

The absolute maximum ratings is also referred to the device ground pin but operating outside this range could cause permanent damage to the part.

Hi Mochi,

The conditions you mentioned is not recommended as the absolute maximum supply for the +Vs is only up to +18V. This will cause permanent damage to the device.
