I'm looking for an Open Collector Opamp. What component references have you in LT/AD ?
That's a rather strange request; haven't seen an open collector op amp in over 40 years in the business.
Why do you want one? What is the problem you are trying to solve?
Although on a schematic, op amps, comparators, and Instrumentation Amps are all drawn as triangles,
they are all different. Comparators are quite often open collector or open drain.
Thanks for your answer Harrynsc. I'm looking for an equivalent of LM393/NCV2903 comparator. The datasheet shows a NPN transistor which collector is the output.
describes the differences between op amps and comparators, and when it MIGHT be appropriate to use an op amp as a comparator. There's also an Analog Dialogue article on the subject:
The comparator parametric selection table allows you to sort by output logic type:
The LM393 is definitely a comparator. Why doesn't it work for you?
Do you need higher voltage? Higher speed??
Do you have a schematic yet?
Oh yes, i understood my mistake. Yes it's a comparator. I just need to find another reference to replace the LM393. I would like to find that in LT/AD.
