Hi all,I would like to ask about ADUX 1020.
Using the Optical Gesture Evaluation Tool,I'm evaluating ADUX1020-EVAL-SDP(EVAL-SDP-CB1Z and ADUX1020 MCM board).
I checked the graph of ”Y Ratio vs. X Ratio” on the Graph XYI tab.
Even if I move the finger horizontally,As shown in the attached image, the locus is a circular arc.
The same phenomenon occurs on both two evaluation boards that I have.
May I recognize this as a specification?
Thanks
Hello,
The circular arc from moving your finger across the ADUX1020 is a typical response, and is due to many factors, including the curvature of your finger as it moves over the sensor. Typically in gesture recognition, either the start and end points are used, or a line of best fit is used to determine the user's hand gesture, which is still possible given this curvature.
Thanks,
Tyler
Thank you for your answer.
I have an additional question.
I have also checked with working on the X axis and seems to working fine when compared to Y axis .
Is the calculation or working differ to that of Y axis .
I have check with both a glide and finger both seems to the same .
I am checking this on 2 different board .
Please let me have additional questions.
In Figure 5 (θY and θX of the least-squares fitting line) of AN-1419, is this doing gestures with fingers?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards.
