Product Number: LT1568
I have designed multiple filter configurations using the LT1568 on a custom board. When I try to power them, I get excessive current draw, saturating the regulator. So it looks like the IC is short circuiting somehow. I have followed the design guide in the EVB user manual to build a 4th order elliptic LPF at 250kHz cutoff:
I cannot see any differences in my circuit to the example that would cause excessive current draw
