Minimum single ended output voltage capability

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD8138ARZ, AD8138

 Hi,

I am using the AD8138 ADC driver in my voltage-sensing circuit. Initially, I had output common mode voltage VOCM of 1.25 V. With this, when Vout_Sense = 0, The differential output voltage I get is 2.3 V. However, if I replace the VOCM with 2.5V, I get the desired differential output voltage of 2.5 V.

The datasheet mentions an input voltage range of 1 V t o3.8 V. Does that also apply to output pins (+OUT and -OUT)? Or else, please let me know what I am missing in the datasheet to explain this.

  • Hi  ,

Good day. Can you provide the voltage measured on each output pin to ground? As for your other question, the input voltage range mentioned only applies to the Vocm pin. If you are looking for the output pins specifications, it would be best to consider the output swing specified in the datasheet:

Also, did your setup have a load resistor or capacitor?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
