Hello ,

I'm using a Lt1568 configured as 4th order Butterworth band pass filter for 4Mhz and signals ;

It works as expected but manifests excessive heating (> 40 ° C) despite no output load.
signal; 4Mhz 2Vpp square wave.
Supply +-5v l.

can you give me some indication? or suggestion?

here is the configuration i am using,

in particular this is the 2Mhz version, the same is true for 4Mhz except the value of the components.
the output circuit drives an AD734.
in both configurations, we notice an excessive heating of the component even in the absence of a signal.
