AD8066 floating input

Hi,

I want to use the OP AMP AD8066 in this configuration:

My question is:

can I leave the non inverting input floating when I don´t need to use the OP AMPor the output and inverting input will drift toward a power rail when not inverting input is floating?

Hi,

It is not recommended to have a floating input.

Your output will be unpredictable since the input may see stray electrostatic field which may lead the input to go outside the rails.
This can cause latch up, saturation, or may damage the part.
