Qestions about AD8138

Hi there, I have some questions about AD8138.

#1, Is there any problem if this device is  used with V+=7V, V-=-3V?

I checked the simulation tool and I think it looks fine.

#2, If the V supply condition is a bit different from the datasheet specification table,

Can I consider the spec of the input voltage range and output voltage swing is the same?

#3,I can't find the open loop spec and open loop phase graph. Could you share the data and graph to consider the gain setting and stability?

Best regards,

Tarzan

Thread Notes

  • Hi Tarzan,

    Apologies for this late response.

    As for your questions:

    1.   Using unbalanced supplies is okay as long as the difference between Vcc and Vee is within the specified range of the amplifier. So +7 V and -3 V is fine.

    2.   No. The ICMVR will change significantly. There has no specific data on that supplies but base on the specs table, it is safe to operate the ICMVR within -2.7 V to + 5.4 V.

    3. You could refer to Figure 10 of the datasheet for gain setting and responses.

    Regards,
