Hello Everyone,
I am going to use an AD8310 for measuring the RF power to my system. The RF is pulsed with a duty cycle of 1:10 or even lower. When an RF signal is at the input of the AD8310 there is no problem and the output voltage is as expected. But during the time where there is no RF signal at the inpunt the output starts to oscillate in an sawtooth shape.
The problem is that I need to average over 10s and 6 min. so during the off period I really need 0V at the output of the AD8310. I tried to simulate the AD8310 with LTSpice and it show the expected behavior. During signal input everything is fine and without an input signal the output voltage is 400mV.
2 questions now:
- How do I get rid of the ripple?
- Can I reduce the 400mV?
I attached an image of the oscillation.
Best regards
Joris
