Calibration result has one inverted trace

Thread Summary

The user is experiencing an inverted trace during calibration of two CN0566 units for a university project. The final answer confirms that this is not an issue, as phase offsets can vary between units. The phase plots should generally show seven arcs centered around zero degrees, with nulls between -180° and -135° or between 135° and 180°.

Hello,

I have two CN0566 units that I am attempting to use for a uni project. When I calibrate them, my results look similar to those shown from Lab 1 (https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/circuits-from-the-lab/cn0566/calibration). However, for both units one of my traces comes back inverted. Is that an issue? The wiki page would imply so, as it says "Phase plots will show seven arcs centered around zero degrees, with nulls between -180° and -135° or betwen 135° and 180°."

This is what my results look like:

I would appreciate any advice!

Thank you,

Robyn
